What is Chebe Powder?
Chebe is a wonderful haircare composition of natural herbal ingredients that have been ingeniously created by the women of Chad.

The Chadian Basara women have been famously known for their naturally long, healthy, coarse hair. They have been using Chebe for many years to keep their hair incredibly moisturized and lubricated, a secret now known to prevent their hair from breakage. Chebe powder has been known and responsible for Chadian women’s 4-foot-long thick healthy hair.

Where does Chebe come from?
Chebe powder is extracted from the bark of a small tropical tree called Lavender Croton. Once made into this wonderful powder it is used as a Hair mask.

• Cloves are individually grilled and separated. Then individually ground into a fine powder.
• The powders are then combined and mixed together, a few spoonfuls of the oil/grease or shea/mango butter mixture are added in and the container is set aside, then that is all mixed together.

How to use:

BEFORE YOU START, GET YOURSELF A MEASURING TAPE AND RECORD YOUR HAIR LENGTH, Get yourself a BEFORE photo taken and SAVE IT. Record your progress every two weeks with PICTURES AND VIDEOS. 

1. Dampen the hair with our Rosewater Hydration Spray or wash with our African Black Liquid Soap

   
   
   
2. Apply the Chebe mixture. You can alternate between 2 tbsp of your favorite hair oils such as coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, avocado oil, etc.  (For example 1 tbsp of coconut oil and 1 tbsp of avocado oil).
   
   (Optional) Additionally, for a deep moisturizing condition add 1tbps of your scented Purple Body Butter or/and Mango Butter. This way you have coconut oil, Jojoba oil,  Purple sea moss, and Shea butter infused into your Chebe Powder.  Alternatively, you can use 1 tbsp of raw shea butter. 
   

3. Boil water in a small pot, and add your Chebe mix into a measuring jug or mason jar, or bowl like below. Once the water has come to a boil, turn the pot off, take the pot off the stove, and once the water has stopped boiling place your bowl/jug/mason on the water to heat for 5 minutes (don't allow the mix to get too hot and boil).

4. Once at room temperature (optional leave overnight to saturate) or apply grease mix to damp hair. (try to avoid the scalp, apply to lose hair).

5. Braid or twist the hair. Once the braiding is done, wet it again with rosewater mist. For shorter hair lightly massage into hair.

6. For best results, repeat the routine every 3 to 5 days.

7. Cover hair when sleeping and when in contact with any light surfaces as the Chebe can be messy. Use in bathrooms over sink or bath to avoid brown mess.
